The IENE scientific workshop 2013:a took place at Arad University, Romania, the 23rd – 25th of May 2013. Over all it was a very constructive and fruitful workshop where IENE played a big part through presentations, discussions and advices. Seven countries were represented at the workshop.
The workshop started indoor with presentations and discussions and continued outdoor the second day with in situ discussions on technical solutions. One of the reporters from a Romanian TV team that followed day 2 concluded that the workshop became a turning-point from a very polarized discussion between technicians and environmentalist to a constructive dialog on how to find effective solutions from the perspective of both sides.
