IENE 2026 Photo Competition
We are pleased to announce that the IENE 2026 Photo Competition is officially open. Whether or not you submitted an abstract for this year’s conference, this is a wonderful opportunity to take part and share your unique view of the relationship between infrastructure and nature.
We welcome photographs that tell the stories at the heart of our field — from wildlife crossings and ecological connectivity to nature-inclusive design and the landscapes we work to protect. There are no borders to the creativity we hope to see: a fleeting encounter with wildlife, a striking piece of green infrastructure, or a landscape transformed by thoughtful design are all equally welcome.
- Finalist images will be displayed during the conference
- Winners will be revealed at the Awards Night
- One outstanding photo will become the cover image of the IENE Special Issue, reaching the international community
