Ecoveloduct - E314 (Belgium)

This ecoveloduct was an existing bridge that is transformed to an ecoduct for fauna and bikers. The transformation is done by removing the road (N730) is because there were too many accidents (with humans). The first road that is removed in Belgium! On the ecoveloduct there is a wooden fence (2,5 m high) for reducing the impact of noise and light from the traffic of the highway E314. At the end of the ecoduct there is made a small pond to attract fauna.
