Ecotunnel - E314 (Belgium)

The way of building was very special. You can see the building proces as a worm which is making tunnels under the ground. The reason for that is that the traffic on the highway had to go on... The concrete elements were made on the place itself. The elements were pulled under de highway using a screwing machine (put on the other side of the highway). Metal teeth were placed on the front of the concrete tube for making the 'digging' easier. During the screwing 2 bobcats were in the elements to remove the sand.
