IENE meetings
IENE arranges annual general assemblies (GAs) of members to openly discuss statutes, administration, funding, projects and strategic issues and elect the SC. These meetings are combined with an international IENE conference, or with a national Open Day.
From the establishment of the IENE network in 1996, annual meetings were organised up until 2003. After the international conference 'Habitat Fragmentation Due to Transportation Infrastructure' in 2003 and the presentation of the results from the COST 341 Action, a few years of inactivity followed before IENE was re-activated at a meeting in Hungary in 2008.
Next IENE meeting will be a GA combined with the 2010 IENE International Conference on Transportation and Infrastructure: 'Improving connections in a changing environment' 27 Sep - 1 Oct 2010 in Velence, Hungary.
