Animal-Vehicle Collisions
There are more than 300,000 reported vehicle collisions with large animals each year. Based on carcass counts and insurance industry estimates, it is possible that one to two million animals collide with vehicles each year. This webinar will provide an overview of more than 30 mitigation strategies that have been implemented across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Presenters will discuss design and implementation strategies for some of these mitigation efforts.
